Capturing the movements of animals in sharp Images with the camera often leads to wonderful results, but blurring by off-focussing can also create amazing and surprising photos that may even help to expand common perception.

During my long-term project on White-tailes eagles I discovered that the main focus of my motivation for photography  shifted   .......

......  initially captivated by detailed and crisp large format images ot the entire bird, I soon became more interested in photographing fragments or bold details.

Then the desire to enter more mysterious realms took hold: depicting movements that would otherwise remain unnoticed by using longer shutter speeds, finally removed from material reality and entering the world of shapes and colours.  ....
